Restoration

Dining at The Carron is like stepping back in time. These photos show some of the unique décor of this bye-gone era.  The light and airy dining room, now expertly restored to its former glory, offers new generations the chance to experience a little of the 1930’s lifestyle.

During the restoration, the colour of the outside paintwork had to match exactly the original turquoise colour, which in turn matched the mosaic tiles on the terrace floor.

Both inside and out, The Carron is recognised as one of Scotland’s finest examples of original art deco design.
